Digimon Survive Tiers And The Best Digimon You Can Get

Digimon Survive is the latest video game, and it’s a mixture of visual novel and strategy. If you’ve never played a Digimon game before, it can be easy to get lost.

In Digimon Survive, each child has a partner Digimon who needs to protect their respective partner.

However, each Digimon has a different relationship with its partner, and the choices you make can determine which evolution each Digimon will have.

To help you navigate the complicated world of Digimon Survive, we’ve compiled a list of the best Digimon you can include in your party.

We’ll tell you how you can find them and how you can evolve to this form. As this is a guide to Digimon Survive, we should warn you that there will be significant spoilers up ahead.

The Best Digimon You Can Get

You can find over 100 Digimon in Digimon Survive, and if you’ve never played the series before (and even if you have), it can be difficult to find out which ones are the best.

That’s why we’re here to help you understand which ones you can get and how you can get them.

Omegamon

Omegamon (or Omnimon for anyone who watched the Digimon Movie) is the strongest Digimon you can possibly find in this game.

It is the only Digimon available in Super Ultimate, as it’s a fusion of two of the strongest Ultimate Digimon in the game.

Let’s take a closer look at Omegamon’s stats to help you understand how strong it is:

HP: 1526

SP: 31

Phys. Attack: 245

Phys. Defense: 142

Sp. Attack: 230

Sp. Defense: 177

Speed: 120

Omegamon has a passive skill called Final Holy Knight, which increases the amount of damage done by Fire and Light-type attacks.

It also increases the amount of damage taken by Wrathful types by two ranks.

However, if you want to get Omegamon, it won’t be an easy process. You need to ensure you follow the Moral Route of the storyline.

As you know, Agumon is a partner Digimon of the game, and you need to follow specific story elements to get him to evolve into this evolution.

Specifically, you need to ensure that you have Gabumon on your field when The Master traps Miyuki. After the death of Renamon, both Agumon and Gabumon will evolve and merge into Omegamon.

MagnaAngemon

While MagnaAngemon is not as powerful as Omegamon, it is one of the most powerful Perfect Digimon you can get in Digimon Survive.

Evolving to Ultimate is a challenge, so a powerful Perfect Digimon is a great deal of help, especially when the fights get tougher. In fact, let’s take a closer look at MagnaAngemon’s base stats:

HP: 610

SP: 98

Phys. Attack: 103

Phys. Defense: 85

Sp. Attack: 175

Sp. Defense: 97

Speed: 52

MagnaAngemon has the passive skill Justice Genome. With this skill, MagnaAngemon increases the damage done by Light attacks by 15%.

There are two ways that you can get MagnaAngemon. The first way to do so is by befriending Patamon early on in the game.

Once you befriend Patamon, you could evolve Patamon into Angemon and then into MagnaAngemon.

However, if you don’t want to have to grind, you could obtain MagnaAngemon after Part 6 by taking part in Free Battle.

If you need to evolve any Digimon, you can also request an item, and MagnaAngemon is likely to give you a Perfect Enlightenment Slab if you want to evolve any of your other Digimon.

Greymon

Greymon is one of the best Adult Digimon that you can get in your party.

However, he’s not the easiest to get, as you need to ensure you make the right decisions to get him. But first, let’s take a closer look at Greymon’s base stats:

HP: 645

SP: 31

Phys. Attack: 71

Phys. Defense: 105

Sp. Attack: 55

Sp. Defense: 60

Speed: 44

Greymon also has the passive skill Living Weapon. Through this skill, Greymon raises the amount of damage done by Physical attacks by one rank.

You will get one out of three evolutions depending on how you raise your Agumon. To get Greymon, you need to follow the Moral route.

To follow the morale route, you need to ensure that you pick choices that inspire your team’s morale instead of following wrathful or harmonic routes.

Each route can affect the overall ending of your story, and if you don’t get Greymon the first time, you won’t be able to evolve into him until you start a New Game.

Labramon

Labramon is a Child Digimon and one of the first to join your party. He’s the partner of Aoi and one of the most useful team members you can have.

As your main healer, he’s essential to ensuring that you and your teammates can survive in the Digital World. Let’s take a look at Labramon’s base stats:

HP: 390

SP: 32

Phys. Attack: 61

Phys. Defense: 48

Sp. Attack: 67

Sp. Defense: 51

Speed: 32

Labramon has the Passive Skill Watchdog. With this skill, the amount of HP you recover is increased by one rank.

The biggest challenge to keeping Labramon is by ensuring that you keep Aoi alive throughout the playthrough.

Labramon is an excellent party member, and he also has some distinctly useful evolutions that can help you throughout the game.

As you can see, these are the best Digimon you can get, depending on the level that you’re at. Digimon is raised by going: Child, Adult, Perfect, then Ultimate.

Getting More Digimon In Digimon Survive

Digimon Survive is a challenging game, and you may be wondering how you can get more Digimon to join your party.

If you’re new to Digimon Survive, you’ll find that there are roughly 113 that you can unlock. Here are the methods you can use:

Evolving Your Digimon

There are certain points in the game where you can evolve your Digimon.

For example, Takuma has three different evolution lines for Agumon that follow the Moral, Wrathful, or Harmonious route.

These will also determine the way the rest of your group’s characters evolve. You need to build up affinity points with each character, and depending on how you fare, they may either die or evolve.

You don’t have to only evolve the Digimon involved in the story, either. If you get Enlightenment Slabs, you can evolve the Digimon that you have befriended.

To get Enlightenment Slabs, you can take part in Free Battle and explore during Free Choice to see if you find any.

Befriending Digimon

There is always a segment in each part of the story where you can take part in Free Choice.

In Free Choice, you can interact with the other characters or explore and take part in Free Battles.

During Free Battles, you can meet Digimon, and either request an item from them (such as an Enlightenment Slab to evolve the Digimon you’ve befriended) or Talk to them.

If you Talk to them, you have the chance to encourage them to join your Team.

Bonus Digimon

The game has four bonus Digimon: Guilmon, Growlmon, War Growlmon, and Gallantmon.

These four are bonus Digimon as they’re all a part of Guilmon’s evolution line. The only way to get Guilmon is if you either pre-ordered the game or got the Month One bonus.

If you didn’t buy the game in time, you wouldn’t be able to play as Guilmon.

Where Can You Play Digimon Survive?

Digimon Survive is a single-player visual novel game that has strategy elements. You can play it on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

It was released on the 22nd of July, 2022, and was published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It’s a darker element to the Digimon franchise and the latest game in the series.

Final Thoughts

Digimon Survive is a challenging game where you must carefully strategize what to do next.

With the help of this guide, you should have a better understanding of which Digimon you can find and how you can add them to your party.

With this list, you should find it easier to find the best Digimon to use. When we wrote down the names, we wrote both the English dub names and the original ones, as there have been minor translation issues with Digimon Survive.
