If you’re new to Warzone, then putting together a loadout that is able to compete in the current Meta can be difficult, especially if you’re not aware of what guns, attachments, and perks are actually worth using.
Thankfully, we’ve put together this guide to help you build a loadout around one of the best assault rifles in the entire Warzone meta, the Krig 6!
So, if you want to learn more about how you can unlock the Krig 6, what attachments and perks you should be using, as well as potential alternatives, then read through our guide, and we’ll provide you with all of the information and details you need to know in order to create a successful loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, Last Stand Reloaded.
What Is The Krig 6?
The Krig 6 is definitely a unique weapon, and if you were a fan of the FAL in Modern Warfare (2019) then this assault rifle is definitely going to be to your liking.
Although both have a similar damage output, the Krig 6’s fire rate is higher than the FAL’s, which means that this gun is an absolute monster to use in Warzone, allowing you to deal serious damage to enemies in those medium to long-range gun fights.
As a result of this great damage output and the awesome fire rate, the Krig 6 has the second-highest pick rate amongst all of the assault rifles that were introduced to Warzone as part of the weapon pool from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, where it was added into the day one weapon pool as part of Cold War’s integration into Warzone.
It’s obvious to see why this weapon was so popular in the multiplayer mode for the Cold War, and it seems as if the popularity carried straight over into Warzone too.
Although it was handed a slight nerf from Raven Software last year, the Krig 6 is still absolutely lethal when utilized correctly and by the right player, so with this loadout, you should have absolutely no problem dominating the enemy!
How Do You Unlock The Krig 6 In Call Of Duty: Warzone?
So, if you want to go about using this incredible assault rifle in Warzone, you’ll first need to unlock it.
The Krig 6 is one of the weapons that was introduced to Warzone when Black Ops Cold War’s weapon pool was introduced which means it’s a post-launch weapon line, so all players will be able to access it from day one.
In order to unlock the gun, however, you’ll first need to reach level 16.
Reaching level 16 isn’t too difficult, and after a few simple games of Warzone, you should soon have the gun unlocked and ready to use.
Unfortunately, there’s no way of speeding up the process of levelling up other than spending more time in-game, as this is the only possible way for you to earn XP.
You should always aim to complete the daily and weekly challenges too, as these will reward you with extra XP to help you reach those higher levels faster.
So, once you’ve unlocked the gun and levelled it up, you’ll then be ready to build the best loadout for the Krig 6!
Best Krig 6 Loadout In Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded
So, let’s take a look at what attachments are included on the best Krig 6 loadout to use in Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded!
- Muzzle – Agency Suppressor
- Barrel – 19.7” Takedown
- Optic Sight – Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel – Field Agent Grip
- Magazine – Salvo 60 Round Fast Magazines
The aim of this loadout is to complement the best features of the Krig 6, and not to complicate the loadout too much, especially since the gun is already so good to begin with.
The choice of Agency Suppressor aims to help improve the accuracy of this already precise weapon, as well as helping to quieten the sound when it’s fired, which should allow players to get the drop on enemy teams when engaging in gun fights.
Since this assault rifle is so adept at mid to long-range gun fights, it’s only appropriate that we attach an optic sight that is going to allow you to have a clear and precise view when aiming down the sight, which is why we opted for the Axial Arms 3x scope.
We also amped up the long-range capabilities by adding the 19.7” Takedown barrel too, which helps to increase both the bullet velocity and the damage range.
We still needed an attachment that was going to help reign in the recoil of the weapon slightly, which is why we’ve added the Field Agent Grip, which turns this assault rifle into something of a beamer, especially at long range.
Finally, we decided to opt for the Salvo 60-Round Fast Mags, as it means you’ll start off with more ammunition, which means you shouldn’t run out during a gunfight!
Best Perks & Equipment For Your Krig 6 Loadout
Now that we’ve got our gun and attachments sorted, it’s time we sorted out the rest of our loadout, so let’s take a look at what we’ve built!
- Secondary Weapon – MP40, or Kar98k
- Tactical – Heartbeat Sensor, or Stim
- Lethal – Claymore, or Throwing Knives
- Perk 1 – E.O.D. or Quick Fix
- Perk 2 – Overkill
- Perk 3 – Combat Scout, or Amped
For our perk options, we start off with a tie between E.O.D. and Quick Fix, both are absolutely excellent perks, but it’s the one you choose ultimately depends upon your play style.
The health regeneration provided by Quick Fix when an enemy is killed is extremely beneficial if you’re a player that likes to take on a lot of enemies at once, but E.O.D. is also a good choice, especially if you find yourself dying from grenades and C4s regularly.
For the second perk, we had to opt for Overkill, as it grants the ability to carry a second primary weapon with you in place of the traditional pistol.
This allows us to cover any weaknesses the Krig 6 might have and provides you with a much better chance of winning the game as your loadout will be able to handle different scenarios.
The secondary you go with is down to personal preference, the MP40 is great for close-quarters combat, whilst the Kar98k is perfect for reaching those enemies who are especially far away.
Our final perk choice is also tied between Amped and Combat Scout, because they’re both equally excellent perks, so it’s up to you to decide.
Amped is best for those who like to rush into gun fights, as the ability to swap between weapons faster means it’ll take less time to switch to that MP40 as you enter a building.
Whilst Combat Scout is good for those who like to know where the enemy is, as shooting a player will reveal the rest of the enemy team’s position briefly.
In terms of the tactical choice, the stim is great thanks to its health regeneration, whilst the heartbeat sensor will be preferred by those who enjoy tracking the opposition before planning an attack.
For the lethal slot, throwing knives are an incredibly popular option in the meta, allowing you to down players with no armor in a close gunfight, and one-shotting any downed players from any distance.
Although the claymore also makes for a good choice too, especially if you’re someone who looks holding down one room until the next zone appears.
Buffs & Nerfs For The Krig 6
Whilst there have been multiple adjustments to the weapon, the biggest one to be aware of was the huge nerf it suffered from in the update on September 15th, 2021, where the neck damage multiplier of the gun was hit with a massive decrease, which hindered it massively in long distanced gun fights.
Despite this, the Krig 6 still remains one of the most popular weapons in Warzone!
Krig 6 Meta Alternatives
With the massive nerf hindering the Krig 6’s potential at long ranges, many players immediately sought alternatives to this once incredible rifle.
So, if you find that the Krig 6 isn’t quite working for you due to its long-range incompetence, and you want a rifle with a high fire rate and good damage output, then thankfully you have two options.
The first option is the Cooper Carbine, which is a part of the Vanguard weapon pool, and the other option is the STG44, which comes from the Vanguard weapon pool too. Both of these are great alternatives to the Krig 6!
Overall, the Krig 6 is a great mid to long-range option in Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded, and we hope this loadout guide helped!
