Iron Fist Alexander can initially be found in the region of Stormhill (located southeast of the Deathtouched Catacombs), where he requires the player’s help after becoming trapped in a hole.
If the player chooses to help him out of the hole – by hitting him a couple of times from below – he will then reward them with a piece of exalted flesh, and greet them with the ‘triumphant delight’ gesture, showing his thanks.
He will then travel to Redmane Castle, where a combat tournament is taking place. To converse further, the player must meet him there for further quests.
He can also be found at Gael Tunnel on his way to the tournament. Once there, he will appear alongside other NPCs (non-player characters) when it is announced.
Once in the castle, he can then be summoned as a phantom to assist in your fight against Starscourge Radahn, and after defeating him you will need to complete all of Alexander’s dialogue for the quest to end.
You can then encounter Alexander on Mt. Gelmir, where he will be sitting in the lava. Here he will give you the jar helmet, which resembles an urn.
The final encounter with Iron Fist Alexander takes place at an optional area within Crumbling Farum Azula, where Alexander will challenge the player character to a duel. If he dies, he will drop his innards, as well as the Shard of Alexander.
