We will also discuss how these camps work in the game and the advantages of using them.

Upgrade Your Camp In New World: How To Guide

You will need to complete the necessary quests to level up your New World camp.

These quests can be found in various areas of the map. Let’s look into the different camp tiers so you can upgrade yours today.

Camp Tier 1

You need to unlock your camp in order to upgrade it. To unlock it, you simply have to meet up with the survivalist.

They will give you the ability to then unlock your camp. Before this occurs, however, you will need to complete a few quests.

Camp Tier 2

To upgrade to camp tier 2, you will need to complete the level 17 quest, known as “Friends in Fashion.”

This can be found in the Monarchs Bluff area, specifically in the town ‘s center with the NPC named Bercina Thornton.

You will need to talk to Bercina Thornton, near the hamlet’s center. For this quest, you will need to loot tattered silk pieces from skeletal remains on Divine Rise.

Once you have gathered all the silk pieces, go to Everfall and speak with Survivalist Lee. Then, you can complete the quest and upgrade your camp to tier 2.

Camp Tier 3

For this tier, you will need to complete the level 30 quest “Animal Instincts.” This can be found in the Cutlass Keys area of the map with an NPC named Tosch.

Simply go southwest on the street out of town and stay to your right.

When speaking with Tosch, you will be rewarded with the Animal Instincts quest. For this quest, you will need to collect sharpened streaked alligator scales and wildcat claws.

Once you have the items, head back to Tosch to finish the quest and upgrade your camp to tier 3.

Camp Tier 4

To upgrade to camp tier 4, you will need to find the Level 41 quest “Lupine Observations.”

This is in the area of the Restless Shore settlement, directly in the town with an NPC named Rilette Wilson.

Speak with Wilson and you will be rewarded with a new quest. You will need to beat Fangsnap in Fangsnap’s Den. After you have done this, return to Rilette and complete the quest.

Camp Tier 5

For Camp tier 5, you’ll need to locate the level 54 quest, known as “Fading Lights.” This is in the Edengrove area, in the town with an NPC named Derick Wardell.

It is possible to set the filter to locate NPCs on the interactive New World Map.

Here, the NPCs can be displayed on the map so you can easily locate the necessary NPC every time you need to.

Here, you will start the Fading Lights quest which requires you to defeat 10 Ancient Guardians at Pavo.

Travel to Paco and complete the challenge. Once you have defeated your enemies, return to Derick Wardell and turn in the quest.

You will once again be rewarded with a camp upgrade and reach tier 5.

What To Craft In Your Camp?

You can craft a number of materials and items at your camp. Making food is vital in the game as it can help boost your health recovery, defense recovery, and mana recovery to level 5.

You can only make corrupt tinctures up to level 5 in the warehouse. You can also putrefy tinctures and arrows up to level 5 and 2 respectively in the warehouse.

Other items that can be made in your camp include beast, corrupted, ancient, wraith, and angry earth weapon coatings and upgrade these up to level 5.

At level 1, however, you can only craft tools and weapons. This applies to whatever level your camp is at.

In Summary

To achieve these tiers, you will need to complete various quests in different areas of the interactive New World Map.

Once you have completed each tier, you will be rewarded with new crafting possibilities and your character will improve and become stronger.
