Totally Points Required To Rank Up
Gambit puts two opposing teams against the minions of Darkness, however, there is a twist; each team is able to send one player to disrupt and invade the opposing team.
By completing bounties and matches, players are able to earn points towards their Infamy rank which can be accessed through The Drifter.
Users are also able to earn gambit points by completing gambit matches. Taking part in back-to-back gambit matches provides users with an activity streak of a level up to 5.
The higher the activity streak, the more points you are able to earn. Although, you should keep in mind that taking part in a new activity will reset your streak – losing your progress.
A player is able to reset their Rank to zero once they have gathered 15,000 Infamy points. During a particular season, users can reset as many times as they like.
Just keep in mind that by the end of a season, all Ranks and points are set back to zero.
Destiny 2 Gambit Ranks
If you’re looking to reset your progress within a season, you’ll need to know what you’re getting yourself into. It is a much different process than ranking up the Vanguard, for instance.
Instead, it requires much more time and is a lot harder than killing a few bounties occasionally.

What Are Infamy Rewards?
Users to take part in Gambit will earn Infamy – a ranking system that relies on progression and awards players points after completing matches. Here, any Gambit match will provide players with Infamy points.
Although, you’ll earn substantially more points by winning.
Plus, by gaining Infamy, players will also be provided access to Gambit-specific equipment and weapons.
By increasing their Infamy, players are able to earn emblems, ornaments, and weaponry. In addition, every time a player advances to a new tier, a Gambit engram is awarded.
Depending on a player’s specific Infamy level, determines what products you’ll receive from The Drifter.

Don’t worry about losing points from defeats, although you’ll earn little to no points, so keep this in mind – your main focus should be on winning.
Rack Up A Win Streak
Winning consecutive points is a major contributor to collecting points. For each game won, you’ll receive more and more points – although, this is capped at five wins to reach max points.
Activity Streaks
This is similar to a winning streak, however, it isn’t solely dependent on winning games. All you have to do is queue into Gambit uninterrupted, and you’ll be raking up points before long!
Double Infamy Weeks
Occasionally, players can take part in Double Infamy weeks. These are well worth keeping an eye on!
How To Reset Your Rank?
After speaking with The Drifter and claiming the Ascendant Shard, you are able to reset your Gambit Rank.
