What Are Challenges In League Of Legends?
So, before we briefly breakdown all of the main challenges available to you as a player, we’re sure that you’ll first be keen to learn a little more about what these challenges even are in the first place.
Remember, challenges within League of Legends were only introduced at the beginning of 2022. So, for that reason, it is still a relatively new game feature that many League of Legends champions are still trying to get their heads around.
To simplify what these challenges within League of Legends are, you should think of them in the same way that you would Eternals.
Sure, even though Eternals has the ability to provide players with the chance to show off achievements and abilities with a specific champion, Challenges can be used to show off your achievements in general – regardless of what champion you are using in the gameplay.
In other words, it’s sort of like an extension of Eternals, with the main focus being on you as a player, rather than what champion you are playing. Sounds simple enough, right?
Well, to help break down what challenges are even further – let’s imagine that you are a League of Legends player that enjoys ARAM.
While playing as ARAM, you can quite easily complete a set of challenges that are directly related to ARAM within the ARAM group.
From there, you will then be able to easily get yourself a token and a title of your challenge achievements.
Plus, you can even modify your settings to get these little tokens and achievement icons to show up next to your name in the game lobby as well as the loading screen. This means that even your opponents and teammates will be able to see them!
Of course, if you don’t want to play under a specific champion, you also have the option of showing off your skills as a League of Legends player without being attached to any champion.
For example, with challenges – you will be able to easily accumulate a variety of different Solo kills and other accomplishments that will allow you to also show off and display next to your name.
In these instances, you will be given the name “Lone Wolf ” as you won’t be playing under any specific champion.
To follow on, at the time of writing this guide – there are currently over 300 challenges available for you to choose from within the League of Legends gameplay.
Not only that, but if you’re a regular player – we think that you might also be pretty pleased to learn that Riot has also announced an official statement detailing their plans to create more challenges in the future, too. Impressive or what?

What Are League Of Legends Challenge Categories?

Remember that titles and tokens are influenced by which rank you are sorted into, so you will also be awarded additional tokens to be able to display next to your name as you progress through the ranks for each challenge that you want to complete.
