When it first made its way into Call Of Duty: Warzone with Vanguard, many people might have initially overlooked the STG44 for being an outdated gun, however, no one expected just how good the STG44 would actually be.

It makes an excellent option for those just beginning to explore the Warzone meta too, so if you’re unsure of what gun is going to suit you best, then the STG44 is a great starting point until you learn more about what makes a good gun in the game.
If you’re going to roll with the STG44 the next time you drop in, then you’re going to want to build a loadout that not only suits you but also one that suits your gun as well.
So, for the best loadout for the best STG44 loadout for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded, keep reading on, and we’ll give you all the details you need to know!
Unlocking The STG44 In Call Of Duty: Warzone
As part of the weapon pool in Call Of Duty Vanguard, players have access to this unique assault rifle right from the start at level 1, which means that there are no tedious challenges to contend with in order to unlock this A.R, so you get access to one of the best assault rifles in the game right at the beginning.
So, simply log in to the game, and you’ll be able to make use of this weapon in your loadout building right from the start, unlike some of the other assault rifles in the game, which are locked behind a series of challenges that need completing before you can add them to your loadouts.
But with the STG44 being as good as it is, you won’t be getting rid of it from your loadouts anytime soon!
Best Loadout For The STG44 In Call Of Duty: Warzone
So, let’s take a look at what the best loadout options are going to be for the STG44 in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Remember, each player is different, so you might have your own personal preferences when it comes to attachments and secondaries, however, this loadout has proven to be one of the most effective configurations when it comes to using the STG44, just don’t be afraid to make some personal adjustments!
Best STG 44 Loadout
Muzzle – MX Silencer
If you were a fan of the Monolithic Suppressor in Modern Warfare, then you’re going to love the MX Silencer, it helps to increase the damage range whilst also suppressing the amount of noise made whilst firing the gun, which is crucial when it comes to initiating gunfights, and it can make the difference between you winning or losing one!
Barrel – VDD 760mm 05B
This an essential addition to the STG44, as it allows you to increase the damage range even further, but also helps to provide you with better recoil control which is definitely needed when you’re in a gunfight with someone over a long range.
Optic Sight – G16 2.5X
Yes there are a lot of close-quarters gunfights in Warzone, but it’s also important to be able to hit those targets at mid-range too, which is why we chose the G16 2.5X optic because of how well it performs both up close and at a distance.
Stock – VDD 34S Weighted
Although it’s great at helping the recoil control, it also provides excess stability, which is crucial for ensuring that all of your shots land exactly where you want them.
Underbarrel – Carver Foregrip
Getting your sights on someone fast is important when it comes to winning gunfights, which is why many people might wonder why we’ve opted for an underbarrel attachment that slows the aim down sight speed of the STG44.
However, the additional recoil control and hip fire accuracy provided is worth the sacrifice.

Magazine – 8mm Kurz 60-Round Drum
There’s nothing worse than being in mid-gunfight and having to reload your weapon, which is why the 60-round drum magazine option makes sense, as the chances are your enemies will run out of ammunition before you do!
Ammunition – Lengthened
Since incendiary ammunition was nerfed, we, like many others, prefer to go with lengthened ammunition, especially when using a submachine gun, or an assault rifle, like the STG44, thanks to the added bullet velocity.
Rear Grip – Polymer Grip
Added to help deal with the slowed aim down sight speed that comes with the Carver Foregrip and our choice of stock, the Polymer grip helps to compensate, so you shouldn’t be at a disadvantage.
Perk 1 – Nerves Of Steel
This perk is necessary if you want to ensure that your aiming is stable and want to reduce the amount of sway your gun experiences when firing.
Perk 2 – Fully Loaded
Completely running out of ammunition is super annoying, especially if you’re an aggressive player who gets into a lot of gunfights, which is why using Fully Loaded is so great, as it gives you the maximum amount of ammunition when equipped!
As you can see, all of the options are thought out thoroughly to ensure that they complement one another, whilst making the most of the potential that the STG44 has, even as the first assault rifle you have access to!
Best Perks For STG44 Loadout In Call Of Duty: Warzone
Perk 1 – Quick Fix/E.O.D
Both of these perks make great choices, it’s all down to preference. If you’re aggressive and constantly find yourself battling in gunfights, then Quick Fix is great, as it enables health regeneration when you take down an enemy.
However, E.O.D also helps to reduce the damage you receive from fire or from non-killstreak-based explosives.
Perk 2 – Overkill
For us, opting for Overkill is an absolute must for your second perk choice, it allows you to equip a secondary primary weapon for your loadout, and will allow you to either help cover the STG in either short-range or long-range gunfights, which we’ll cover in greater detail later on.
Perk 3 – Amped/Combat Scout
Since we’re going to be running with two primary weapons on this loadout, then Amped is absolutely necessary to make switching between weapons as quick as switching to a pistol would usually be.
Although Combat Scout is also feasible since it helps to highlight the entire team when you shoot an enemy.
Best Equipment For STG44 Loadout In Call Of Duty: Warzone
Secondary Weapon (With Overkill) – MP40 (Vanguard) Or The Kar98k (Modern Warfare)
As we said previously, the STG44 is great at mid-range, but having some cover for both the short and long-range gunfights you’ll engage in is important, and using overkill also makes your loadout much more versatile.
So if you feel like you want short-range cover, go with the MP40, or if you’re struggling to win at long distances, then opt for the Kar98k.

Lethal – Throwing Knives/Proximity Mine
Throwing knives are a staple for most loadouts due to their ability to eliminate a downed player instantly from any distance as long as you hit them, which is great when you’re trying to take on a full team all by yourself.
However, you can also go with the proximity mine if you feel like you want to cover your flank when remaining stationary, which is good for defending yourself whilst healing!
Tactical – Stim/Heartbeat Sensor
The option you go for here entirely depends on your playing style.
Going with the stim is best if you like to be cautious and approach gunfights carefully, whilst the heartbeat sensor is good if you like to know where your enemies are and rush in to take them out.
Alternatives To The STG44
If you like the STG44 but want to move on once you’ve unlocked some of the other assault rifles on offer in the game, then there are a couple of assault rifles that provide a similar sort of feel to the STG44.
Both the Cooper Carbine (Vanguard), and the Vargo 52 (BOCW) are great assault rifles in the current Warzone meta that will make for fantastic replacements for the STG44 if you’re looking to switch up your loadout to something more interesting than the starting assault rifle.
