ARURF (All Random Ultra Rapid Fire) is a very popular League of Legends game mode simply because it’s so much fun to play. The cooldown on character abilities is lower and mana resources are infinite, so the player experience is positive and exciting.
With that being said, a decision that all League of Legends ARURF players have to make at some point is which character to play, and this can be tricky if you don’t know a lot about them or their abilities.
If you want to know which League of Legends ARURF champion you should play as, one of the most important resources you can have is a tier-list. This way, you get to see where each character places in the overall ranking.
We have created a tier-list of the League of Legends ARURF champions to help you make your choice. We’ll be briefly discussing all the characters from C-tier (average) upward to S-tier.
This way, you can base your choice of character on how well the champions perform in-game and get the most out of the gaming experience.
Tier-Ranking League Of Legends ARURF Champions
C-Tier is considered the ‘average’ tier when it comes to League of Legends ARURF Champions. These characters are by no means ‘bad’, and it’s even possible to play them in a way that makes them appear ‘overpowered’.
However, this won’t be as easy as it would be with players from the B-tier and the A-tier.
League of Legends ARURF Champions in the C-Tier include Yasuo, Karma, Graves, Corki, Viktor, Lillia, Lissandra, Gragas, Thresh, Leona, Fiddlesticks, and Cho’Gath.
The B-Tier in our League of Legends ARURF Champion ranking can also be considered an ‘average’ level tier. It’s just a step above the C-Tier, meaning that you need slightly less skill to play these champions in an impressive way.
There are a lot of members of the B-Tier, including: Gangplank, Cassiopeia, Sivir, Fiora, Aatrox, Veigar, Morgana, Kennen, Jhin, Nocturne, Zoe, Blitzcrank, Ekko, Lee Sin, Varus, Malzahar, Garen, Zyra, Kayn, Fizz, Darius, Senna, Sylas, and Kha’Zix.
Moving onto the A-Tier, these are champions that are generally considered good choices regardless of your skill level.
Whereas skilled players may be able to play characters in the C-Tier and below with good results, beginners to League of Legends would struggle to come out on top with lower-tier characters.
However, when it comes to the A-Tier, just about anyone can play these characters and expect to do fairly well.
The A-Tier of League of Legends ARURF champions is home to some of the most high-powered characters in the game. These, in our opinion, are as follows:
Seraphine, Lucian, Anivia, Qiyana, Lux, Gwen, Teemo, Ahri, Volibear, Orianna, Malphite, Rumble, Kassadin, Miss Fortune, Irelia, Brand, Ezreal, Jinx, Heimerdinger, Lulu, Jayce, Neeko, Wukong, Syndra, Sona, Annie, Akshan, Ryze, Caitlyn, Xerath, Vel’Koz, Riven, Lucian, Diana, Virgo, Samira, and Ziggs.
At the top of our list, we have the S-Tier League of Legends ARURF champions, which are the very best of the best. These are the most powerful champions in the game, so they are the first choices for many players.
Because these are the best characters in League of Legends ARURF, we’d like to dedicate a little time to introducing each of them in more detail.
Here’s what you need to know about the members of the S-Tier in League of Legends ARURF:
Shaco is able to make himself invisible, which is a very useful ability to have. He’s even more useful in ARURF because as we mentioned earlier, all the cooldowns are lower, so his invisibility is permanent.
He’ll also be able to keep his clone up throughout most of the game which isn’t the case outside of ARURF.
Renata Glasc is a character who was released more recently than a lot of the other champions in League of Legends ARURF. This means that some of her kit is more advanced, hence why she’s part of the S-Tier.
Renata Glasc is able to resurrect with her W and her R has the ability to make members of the opposing team turn on one another. These abilities are made even better by the lower cooldowns in ARURF.
One of the newest additions to League of Legends, Zeri is not only one of the fastest-moving champions but also one of the most powerful – to the point where playing against this champion can be very frustrating.
Xin Zhao’s character has recently been reworked, which means that his abilities have increased. When paired with the fact that cooldowns are lower in ARURF, Xin Zhao is an even more formidable champion than before.
Xin Zhao truly excels in the early game, which is when the majority of games are decided in ARURF, so here he is in the S-Tier.
Kayle had the highest rate of wins in 2021’s URF, so it should come as no surprise that she makes it to the top tier for ARURF.
The reason she managed to secure such a high win rate is because she’s able to solo carry to an impressive level once she gets past level 11, and she’s especially good in the Riftmaker and Nashor’s Tooth builds.
The banning system in ARURF is in place in order to keep the game fair due to how overpowered some characters can be with the low cooldowns.
Zed happens to be the champion that is most often banned in League of Legends ARURF, which should tell you a lot about his level of power and why you should pick him to play.
Master Yi is another character that many people who play League of Legends ARURF consider to be largely overpowered.
This is because all you really need to do in order to win a game as this character is keep pressing Q and R simultaneously, which can be frustrating for other players but is great if you choose this champion.
Katarina, like Master Yi, is a League of Legends ARURF champion who is able to win fights simply by spamming. Again, this is a good reason to ban her from games, but also an excellent reason to pick her.
In non-ARURF League of Legends games, Yuumi is a fairly balanced character because her impressive abilities cost a fair amount of mana.
However, there is no mana in League of Legends ARURF, so in these games, Yuumi becomes overpowered and frustrating for opponents.
When you play as Karthus in League of Legends ARURF, you get unlimited E and your Q can cause a lot of problems for other players. This is the main reason why Karthus is considered an S-Tier player.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who Is The Most Overpowered Champion In ARURF?
If you look at the S-Tier of our champion ranking for League of Legends ARURF, you’ll notice that we refer to a lot of the champions as overpowered. But which is the most overpowered of all?
Since Zed has the highest ban rate, you might expect it to be him, but actually, Ezreal is considered the most overpowered or ‘broken’ by many League of Legends fans.
That’s because he can repeatedly throw Mystic Shots which prevents counter-attacks.
Who Is The Hardest League Of Legends Champion To Play?
Most of the hardest-to-master League of Legends champions can be found in our B and C Tiers. This is because they don’t have the same overpowered abilities and potential for spamming as A and S-Tier champions.
Harder characters to play include Azir, Gangplank, Yasuo, and Orianna.
What About The Other Champions?
If you’ve noticed that some League of Legends ARURF champions are missing from our tier-ranking, that’s because they’re in the D-Tier or below.
We haven’t included these characters in our ranking because even highly skilled players will struggle to perform well in ARURF with these champions.
When playing League of Legends ARURF, you have a lot of characters to choose from, and many of them seem more controversial and interesting because their abilities don’t have cooldowns and don’t cost mana.
In our opinion, the best champions to play in League of Legends ARURF are those in the S-Tier, and these are Shaco, Zeri, Renata Glasc, Zed, Katarina, Yuumi, Master Yi, Karthus, Xin Zhao, and Kayle.
With that being said, any champions in the B-Tier and above can be played to a high level by experienced players.
